    We are so excited to be starting the 2020-2021 school year and beginning a new adventure in learning AVID with our students. AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. We will be using AVID strategies to engage our students and provide them with the critical skills to become confident, independent thinkers. We are so excited to see our students grow with these strategies and be able to provide additional supports as they start to become college and career ready!     District 6 Health Services encourages every child to be immunized in consultation with their health care provider. Vaccinations prevent many serious diseases and help prevent the transmission of those contagions in our schools, which improves attendance and learning for all students.
